PROJECT: Re-name a maintenance management software product.
BIGFOOT: Depth, breadth, and a big footprint that covers all areas.
BRAND POSITIONING: The Smartware Group was force by a trademark conflict to change the name of its “Smart Maintenance” flagship CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software product. Since their best-in-class product could not be noticed or remembered because of its generic name, this became a great opportunity to re-brand. The name Bigfoot conveys the depth and breadth of the product over all aspects of a company’s maintenance management and immediately differentiates this powerful software platform from its competitors in a way that’s very different and memorable, humorous and intelligent.
